i dont know how to use terminal to save my life, nor can i get it to send my log files… just frustrated and basically done at this point…

@sam_nazarko So, if the card is not installed it will be empty there?

Can I install the new OSMC on HDD first and once OSMC gets working, shut down, open up and add the card and reboot? Would that work or have some issues?

That will work.

You can add the card at any time.

I have a BCM70012 and in

Settings --> Video --> Acceleration

“Allow hardware acceleration CrystalHD” is not checked and is grayed …

lspci: command not found

dmesg:

Is the CrystalHD working in this AppleTV 1 (OSMC January 2016.01-1 / Linux 4.2.3.7-osmc)?

Thanks.

Yes it’s working fine.

  • No lspci because it bloats. You can install from APT
  • Grey because enabled by default and not togglable. A search will reveal I have explained this many times.

Ok Sam!

Thanks for your fast response …

I think I read many, if not all, posts about it
but I was in doubt when I read the Wiki

“How to install the CrystalHD Video Decoder”

Equipment Needed:
…

  • Broadcom CrystalHD BCM70015 Card (older BCM70012 will work, but not as well)

Again, thank you for answering my question!
