ok so i installed 1 crystal card today, and im wondering how i can tell its even installed, do i have to add anything to the machine? drivers or anything? it doesnt seem any different at all?

CrystalHD will show up in Settings under Video

on another not, another failed update on my end… im just totally lost on what it is im supposed to do to make this run smoothly? kust really lost tbh… this is the 2nd time ive had a failed install for an update,
i dont know how to use terminal to save my life, nor can i get it to send my log files… just frustrated and basically done at this point…

Can I install the new OSMC on HDD first and once OSMC gets working, shut down, open up and add the card and reboot? Would that work or have some issues?
That will work.
You can add the card at any time.
I have a BCM70012 and in
Settings --> Video --> Acceleration
“Allow hardware acceleration CrystalHD” is not checked and is grayed …
