How to add Music from USB Stick/HDD to Library

Today I installed OSMC on my Raspberry Pi 2 and I can find the music if I go on Music and then on the stick. But when I click on “Add Music…” I can’t find my USB Stick.

USB drives should mount under /media - browse to there and you should see it.

Ok, now i can see my music, but it isn’t in my music library and i can’t see it on my phone with remote control.

I think you need to Set Content -> and select Music

Yup, then it should ask you to “Scan folder to library”.

Don’t forget that when you remove the USB stick from the pi you will not be able to access the media.
