@fzinken thank you. yes I did upgrade to August’s version.
The reflashed system held without glitches for 12 hours on the outlet, now trying it out on the UPS and so far 12 hours went by without reboots.
So HOPEFULLY the problem has been fixed by reflashing with a vanilla system.

Power loss may have caused some unfortunate corruption. It’s great to hear that you are up and running again though.

It is a standard package that you just need to install with a simple command.
Installing it by default would not make sense as it would blow up the size of OSMC just for a few peoples usage.
Could add it to the App Store if a sane default config and steps can be suggested
