How to display YouTube Closed Captions (subtitles)?

The title says it all:
I tried to watch a video with the YouTube add-on. The video has closed captions, but in the add-on I didn’t find any setting to get the subtitles displayed.

Can the add-on display them at all?

Thanks fzinken for the hint, I’m afraid though that the developer does not support that add-on anymore.
Maybe any member of the OSMC forum here is also using the YouTube add-on, and managed to display closed captions…?
