I have my movies on NAS server shared over multiple devices with the common library on mysql. I use my PC to manage whole library and all other devices use this library automatically. From some time OSMC on raspbery pi 3 stopped refreshing library and i have to update it manually every each time it’s most likely because my PC and other devices use kodi 16 and osmc use 17.
On my PC i’m using linux, kodi 17 is marked as unstable i don’t want to mix stable and unstable packages because it will mess with my dependencies so solution i see is to downgrade osmc.
How to downgrade osmc ?

You would be better of updating to kodi 17 on Linux PC, I know it marked as unstable in the linux dist repository, but in kodi terms its considered stable. Also if you use any addons, the latest updates for these will have been geared towards 17.
When using mysql, each kodi update requires a new database; so now you have one database for 16 and another for 17.
If you still think downgrading is the way forward, you will need to re-image. I think this is the one you will want:

That’s why i want to avoid installing unstable version it would reconfigure half of my system. I will install old version of osmc
It looks like you’re on Debian. The version in backports is 16.1 and 17.1 is sitting in unstable, as you say. That’s not to say that Kodi 17.1 is unstable; after all, it’s not a release candidate and is being used elsewhere, including on OSMC and Ubuntu. It’s also not v17.0 , so will have had some initial bugs ironed out by now. This is much more likely to be a reflection of the conservative (some might say glacial) Debian approach to upgrading. As I’m sure you know, the Debian Jessie kernel is still on 3.16.39-1+deb8u2 (2017-03-07) when most other distributions are well into v4.
