Wow that’s a rapid response for a old thread like this !
Thanks for the pointers… I have now found the VNC Launcher add-on and it was disabled, so I’ve enabled it.
It connects in about 10-15 seconds.
After trying a whole load of keystrokes I’ve now found that CTRL-Q is a working quit method.
This is really cool. I can now access my server without having to fire up another computer.
Until now I’d always believed that OSMC wasn’t able to display ‘real’ desktops.
We live and learn !
I think there are seconds to shave off in the script, since it was made for Jarvis slower shutdown time. Tried this myself, but i think my upgrading to Stretch i think i broke it, will reimage to jessie and try it again,
