I see the option to select play next video automatically, but I cannot see how to deselect it. I have searched Kodi website and drawn a blank.
Hi, that’s not enough information to do anything with.
- OSMC on which device model?
- Which skin is used?
- For which action in the GUI do you see this ‘play next’ action? Playing a movie, playing a series, playing content in the YouTube addon?
- Can you show a screenshot of it?
If the problem is not clear even with this minimal information, we need logs:
The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.
Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:
-
enable debug logging at settings->system->logging
-
reboot the OSMC device twice(!)
-
reproduce the issue (scroll/jump to the near end of the video until you see the ‘next video message’ and stop the playback)
-
upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the
Log Uploader
method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or thessh
method invoking commandgrab-logs -A
-
publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here
Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.
OSMC skin screenshot:
I thought there might be a simple answer like something I had missed in the GUI/skin.
I am using the standard OSMC (if I remember right) skin on a Vero V and looking at the services/player screen. The set up is bog standard.
Otherwise thanks for the reply and I’ll just live with it.
Maybe it’s coming from an add-on you are using?
Use the select/return/OK button to navigate down to an individual item instead of the play button if you want to play a single item. Am I correct in assuming your hitting play on a in-progress widget or the top level of a series? If so this is new expected behavior and I’m not aware of a method to change it.
