I haven't used my Vero since 2020. How can I upgrade now?

Hi!

For personal reasons I haven’t used the Vero 4K since late 2020. Now I’m trying to upgrade from the menu MyOSMC apps and it doesn’t work. It sats check with the forum :slight_smile:

Any tips on how to proceed without losing all my databases, configurations, etc.?

9 times out of 10, the MyOSMC backup is enough. But if you have installed deb packages via ssh, to customize the OS well then it’s not enough.

Configure MyOSMC backup as wide as you can, like /ets/fstab etc, make a backup and then copy that backup to another storage medium, like your PC or a pen-drive. Re image the Vero with the latest image, and restore the backup.

That’s the easy way.
