I had a guy from TBS - where I have my DVB-S tuner from - set it up on the Pi.
Since he doesn’t know about Vero4k, I’m not sure if can set it up there as well. Don’t want him to mess up the Vero4k.
Well surely those guys know best how to compile their driver. If you want to do it yourself you would surely check out a few things:
- You would need to access the Vero via SSH:
Details regarding how to access the command line interface can be found here on our Wiki: Accessing the command line - General - OSMC
- Install a build environment:
sudo apt-get install git bzip2 make gcc patch patchutils libproc-processtable-perl -y
sudo apt-get install kernel-package vero364-source-$(uname -r) vero364-headers-$(uname -r) linux-source -y
- Follow the steps explained here to compile the driver and get the firmware
