"Ignore articles when sorting" not working

Just added a whole bunch of movies and tv series to my library and they were all scraped correctly, but sorting is not working as expected.

I want to ignore articles like the, and or a when sorting, I even have that option turned on under Settings > Media > General, but my movies are still sorted like this:

  • Arrival
  • Captain Phillips
  • Intersterllar
  • The Big Short
  • The Grand Budapest Hotel
  • The Hateful Eight
  • The Revenant
  • Warcraft
  • Zootopia

Instead of:

  • Arrival
  • The Big Short
  • Captain Phillips
  • The Grand Budapest Hotel
  • The Hateful Eight
  • Intersterllar
  • The Revenant
  • Warcraft
  • Zootopia

Any ideas?

I’m sporting OSMC 2017.02-2 (kernel: Linux 4.4.27-7-osmc) running Kodi 17.1-RC1.

Which skin and which view - also Movies v Videos?

I’m using the new beautiful default OSMC skin. I’m on the list view. Behaves like that both in Movies and TV Shows.
