Hi,

I am sorry to say that stability of OSMC versions is declining over time on my RPi3. The music player freezes Kodi randomly; I tried the suggested solution adding buffers in advancedsettings.xml which seemed to work at first, but no. And lately when I start remote control (Chorus) from my PC while OSMC is playing, the system crashes.
Not a bug but a (new) feature: when I restart a movie from a point where I stopped it, it takes some time for the sound to keep up with the video, keeping silent for a while. Never had that in the past.
I sometimes long to the time it was still XBMC and without these kind of hick-ups.
Sorry for complaining, I know it’s not very helpful. Just had to get it off my chest after another crash and reboot.

True, not without debug logs.

It sounds like your power supply is failing and may need replacing.

Without logs though, it’s anyone’s guess as to what your issue is.

The hang-ups only occur when playing music; the player continues though, but controls are dead. I think that rules out the power supply.
No debug log yet, but I found this in the kodi log, may be an indiaction:

Already googled it, seems to occur with other people to. Have not found a solution.
So, no debug log yet. Will work on that.
