Are there any rough instructions available for installing other distributions on the 4k+? (I realize this won’t be supported here.)

What distribution would you like to install? I’ve been considering making some minimal (CLI) images of CentOS; Ubuntu and Arch available.

Arch in my case.
Would these images support kernel updates as well? Cause putting the right root fs in place probably isn’t very hard, but I’m unclear how the boot partitions work, etc. Tbh, I haven’t looked very closely yet. Some general information like where to put the kernel, what caveats to handle in the initrd, where does the bootloader live etc. may be more useful, though.
I don’t recommend trying to install anything to the eMMC yourself.
I’m sure we could work on a kernel update mechanism.
