Installing diver of Waveshare 10.1" touchsdisplay

Hi,
i am new in the world of osmc kodi and like to setup a 10.1" touchscreen from Waveshare:

But i have no idea how to do this with the osmc kodi. The classic raspian commands are not working…
Can someone please help me and explain how i can install the display?

Did you get hung up on the git command? If so did you install git first?

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install git

If this display requires X11, it sadly won’t work

I’d look in to whether that is the case from the manufacturer.
