Is it possible to use a Vero 4K+ remote with a Vero V?

I have a Vero 4K+ remote that has seen better days with my kids using it. It still works but I would like to save the Vero V remote until this remote finally dies. Can I use the old remote with the Vero V system?

Yes, plug the 4K+ remote dongle into the Vero-V USB 2.0 socket and re-pair (Home+OK).

Shouldn’t even need repairing if it’s already paired

Thanks. Is the 4K+ based off of radio frequency while the V is based on bluetooth?

No. Both devices use USB 2.4Ghz RF.

On Vero V, the USB RF receiver is built in to the box so that a USB port is not ‘lost’ to the receiver.

That’s why you get the prompt to pair the remote with the receiver when you boot the Vero V. We can’t match the remote to the USB directly unlike when we ship a remote separately.
