Is it safe to power vero 4K through usb for a duration of one movie?

Recently the power supply on my OG vero 4K non plus died and I already ordered a new one that’s traveling from uk but some friends would like to watch a movie today 1080p
X264 and I’m wondering if I should take the psu from my home vero ( would like to avoid it if possible) or if powering it through usb will be sufficient for the 90 min of the movie.

As long as you use a proper power supply that provides stable 5V it is no problem to power the Vero via USB even for longer periods.

I’ll power it through the osmc hub so it should be good

It might crash but won’t harm the device.
