Hi! I’ve been using a Shield Pro for years and am thinking about upgrading to the Vero V. I use Plex about 99% of the time and I’d like to know if the Vero V can fully unlock the potential for that use. Also, how does the Vero V compare to the Shield Pro overall?
Need Atmos, DTSX and HDR+ and a fast Dashboard (GUI).

The state of Plex on Kodi is so-so. I think @darwindesign can probably let you know about the latest state of it.
Playback works great. You have a few options as far as the interface goes with options to either use the Kodi UI using Plex as a backend, or using an add-on that looks very similar to the Plex app. The only major downside using Plex through Kodi vs. an app is that Plex doesn’t maintain an “official” Kodi add-on anymore so you shouldn’t necessarily expect every feature that may get added to with the app to also get added to the unofficial add-ons.
