Is my Vero faulty?

25mins and the video starts to jump about, fps drops to single digit, CPU at 38%.
Still going but unwatchable due to the jumpiness.
Stop and resume still jumping, stop and it freezes up totally at main menu.

With CEC disabled.

It looks like you’re playing from NFS still. It’s not a fresh install either…

Did you try a local playback clip?

Please let us help you by following the advice.

Hi I’m back again,
Came back home and found Vero has frozen at main menu, left it idle since last night.
Fresh downloaded image from web (July) and reinstalled OSMC, update latest patch but encountered update error, eventually it updated Aug patch.
Downloaded Big Buck Bunny.mov(link from Sam’s reply from another thread) and copy to thumb drive
Enabled debug, played movie…it played perfectly the first round, about 10mins… replayed it again and it freezes at about 2mins into play.
Tried to SSH, but not successful.

Played BBB another 2 times, at the end of the 2nd play, OSMC sad face and it rebooted itself.

I couldn’t see a sign of an update error in your logs, but I will take your word for it.

If Big Buck Bunny refuses to play, and you’ve ruled out other peripherals (i.e. connected to another TV, tried without an extension lead), then the hardware may be at fault.

You can initiate an RMA by emailing sales@osmc.tv

Thanks

Sam

Ok, will do so later.
