Is the mpo 3D image file format properly supported?

I only found one posting regarding this topic. Since I have a tons of .mpo files from my Fujifilm 3D camera, I want to make sure that the add-on works properly in the meantime before buying a Vero 5.

I think this is the add-on you’re mentioning, right?

It appears the Kodi team maintains this add-on, so it should, in theory, work fine. That said, if you can put one of your images somewhere I can download it, I’d be happy to try it on my Vero V to make sure.

You are right about the add-on. Here is the link to one of my images:

Thank’s for Your support.

It does seem to work, although because the add-on is a binary add-on (meaning it is compiled for the specific platform on which you’re running), it’s a little strange to get it running. You have to go to SETTINGS → ADD-ONS → My ADD-ONS → IMAGE DECODER and then scroll down to the MPO image decoder, bring up the context menu, and then enable it.

Once you’ve done that, you should be able to add a Picture source in the Pictures menu, pick the directory that has all your MPO files, and then you can browse them and show them full screen.

Many thanks not only for the test but also for the effort to get it up and running. This should make it possible to finally play all my files with Kodi and banish my additional HTPC from the living room.
