I have been looking and cannot find anywhere that shows the possibility of a recycle bin for files that accidentally gets deleted.
Does anyone have any ideas on if this could be implemented?

No, within Kodi there is no such function.
Recovery of accidentally deleted files would depend of the file system of the server where your files are stored
You should make backups of stuff you don’t want to lose and let that become the equivalent of a recycle bin. That is really only a feature for local disks on full GUI OS’s.

A recycle bin would be filesystem dependent and not something we could implement universally.
