Issues after Nov update error

I’ve had an error during the November update then asked me to contact the forums. I’ve tried rebooting and updating again but it says no update available and it shows November in my Osmc. The usb drives keep disconnecting and when they are connected, I’m getting stuttering on 1080p files and almost static on 4k.

I also get embuary info error and the usb drives don’t mount after reboot without me physically removing the usb and putting it back in.

Hope I did the log up loader right https://paste.osmc.tv/cesoboravo

Reuploaded logs, hopefully correctly this time. Had to plug in usb drive after rebooting then tried playing 1080p and 4k

If you reboot and check for updates again all should be well.

Sam

Still the same issues. No updates available. Shows OSMC November 2025 2025.11-1

Do you know how to use SSH?
Otherwise there’s another suggestion I can make

Sam

No I’ve never tried it.

Ok, will prepare simpler solution shortly.

Sam, do you know when you’ll be able to get this done? Thanks

I should be able to prepare something by next week at the latest.

Reinstalled osmc and left it on August update, seems to be running fine now

You should be safe to update if you’ve reinstalled.

Hi Sam. I have a similar issue where I cannot update, my Vero V is stuck on version November 2025.11.1

I don’t want to have to reinstall as that is a headache to set up all my drives etc.

can you provide a fix or way to be able to update as before?

(I am able to ssh if needed)

Thanks.

Can you please upload a log so we can see what the issue is?

Sam

I’ve updated once and it went back to not recognising my usb drives. Stuck on August update, I fear updating again

So to clarify: August 2025 version of OSMC, USB is functional; November 2025 version: not functional?

I cannot think of any changes there that could cause this.

Sam

Hi Sam,

See logs here

Please help me with how I can update from November 2025 update without reinstalling

This is the latest stable version of OSMC.
Can you clarify the request?

Oh really the November 2025.11-1 is the latest?
If so then that’s fine I thought something was wrong

Nope, that’s the latest version.

Sam

Hi Sam, yes that’s it. No idea why. I’ll wait until the next update, then try and update again.
