Issues with playback of VC-1 Bluray rips

tried to playback The Adjustment Bureau, it plays kinda in slow motion, if i skip chapters then audio is way out of sync

There is a fix in staging. But a quick fix if you know how to use ssh is here:

VC-1 files unwatchable after May update

Do you know how to use ssh? If so this should fix your VC-1 problem (until you reboot): echo 0 | sudo tee > /sys/module/di/parameters/bypass_prog You will need to do this after every reboot (so don’t reboot ), until an official fix is made. Let us know if this works for you also.

Just tried out a few VC-1 files, is the problem restricted to 24p on the Vero? I tried a 1080/50i file and it played fine. The ssh command posted above has fixed the 24p playback for me.

All my VC-1 files are 24p, so no idea if other resolutions are affected.

I only have a handful of VC1 clips. 60Hz is OK, 24Hz needs the fix.

Do you reboot that often? I never reboot mine. But you can update to staging if you want to make it permanent.
