Kernel Symlink errors on update

I updated 2 Apple TVs via “sudo apt-get dist-upgrade” and was fnially able to get past the sad face of a month ago (a month ago this problem was insurmountable without a clean install.)

Now I got the following on both ATVs

Hmm. There is a symbolic link /lib/modules/4.2.3-22-osmc/build
However, I can not read it: No such file or directory
Therefore, I am deleting /lib/modules/4.2.3-22-osmc/build

Hmm. The package shipped with a symbolic link /lib/modules/4.2.3-22-osmc/source
However, I can not read the target: No such file or directory
Therefore, I am deleting /lib/modules/4.2.3-22-osmc/source

Is this critical? a bug?

This is not an error, nor a bug.
If you search the forum you will see this has been covered before.

Gee well I saw NOTHIING here about it and searching did not yield a result. THAT IS WHY I ASK!

I do not underfstand if you keep implying these things are so simple to find then maybe you could post a link rather than tell people to “search”

I don’t want to repeat the same answers over and over again. So, I suggested that if you wanted to know further information, you could search.

I answered your question. There is no issue.

Here you go, a link: Search results for 'Therefore I am deleting' - OSMC Forums.

Calm down.

First link which comes out after searching “Hmm. There is a symbolic link” answers your question.
