Kernel update to 4.x planned?

Are there plans to update the Kernel to the 4.x series?
There is support for more recent dvb adapters in it.

4.x is planned for Pi and Vero

Is there a timeframe for this as raspbian and openelec already ship this kernel version.

It’s already staged, so it will be released in the July update
