Nope. I suggest upgrade to a pi3 or Vero 4k. Or address the issue with Kodi.

Hi,
I have got my Vero 4K about a week ago and I have similar issues. It takes too long to start playing video from web e.g. youtube or twitch. Everything else is OK. I have ethernet connection from Vero 4K to my router. On Windows Kodi 17.6 videos from youtube are played in few seconds. But in Vero 4K it take about 30-40 sec to start playing video. My PC is connected to same router also via ethernet cable.

There are hundreds of discontinuities there.
Looks like you’re playing < HD content, which can be handled in software quite trivially. This might give better results.
