So I keep getting the following error whenever I try to install a new add on. Kodi gives me the following error: “Failed To Install Addon From Zip File”
After searching the web, it seems the only way to fix it is to roll back to Kodi 18.1.
How would you even go about doing this on a Vero 4K+ running OSMC Kodi 18.4?
Or is there another workaround?

The event log says:
Failed to install Add-on from zip file [date and time]
Installing the Add-on from zip file located at
http://theuforepo.us/repo/repository.ufo-repo-1.000.000.zip failed due to an invalid structure.
That link does not load here – which may be causing the problem.
Doesn’t matter which repository link I try, it gives the same error.

I’m not aware of an issue installing ZIP files, but I will look in to that.
In the interim, the easiest way to downgrade Kodi version would be to install OSMC from Download - OSMC again.
You could take a backup of your Kodi directory to save having to reconfigure everything if you have already made significant customisations.
Afraid I am not that well versed in how to go about doing that. I got the 4K+ because all the upgrades were supposed to happen automatically. This is more involved than my frame of reference/familiarity for these things.
The updates do indeed happen automatically, but it looks like this version is causing you problems. Fortunately re-installing OSMC is quite straight forward. Please see Reinstalling OSMC - Vero 4K - OSMC and let me know if you have any questions. You will need a USB stick or micro SD card.

Just did a quick test on my OSMC with Kodi 18.4. Installed http://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/leia/metadata.tvmaze/metadata.tvmaze-1.0.0.zip and didn’t had a problem.
@clovis.steib can you test with that ZIP and report if you have problems.
