This issue still remains. I’ve changed the CEC settings in Kodi to not automatically change input when powering on. However, even with this off, my amp still changes to the Vero input when I turn the TV and Amp ON.
The only solution is to either shutdown Vero or turn CEC off completely.
With CEC turned off, I could not use my Harmony remote to control Kodi. I have therefore trained my Harmony remote to act as the Vero remote. It now works much better than the Vero remote.
I also have issues with Vero playing certain files (stuttering). To be frank, Vero is not ready for release. It’s a retrofit box with lots of bugs. It certainly is not plug and play.
