Kodi not available HTTP

Hi,

I have 3 Vero4ks all configured nearly same, my main one I use all the time and the http:// is always accessable, but the 2 box`s that arent used as much I got the couldnt find web page message.

1 box also runs tvheadend, but this was accessable and so was SSH
the other box i could get on SSH.

So its not like the device had crashed or was turned off

running the stop…mediacenter command and start has put them back to normal so I can go on the http to control the box, but is there anything that stops kodis http interface?

You might be running another service occupying the default port. Have you checked?

hi sam,

there shouldnt be all the settings where cloned from the one i use all time.

the http was running for weeks, then just stopped on both, ones wired other is wifi

only difference to main one is how often there used

To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

  • enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

  • reboot the OSMC device

  • reproduce the issue

  • upload the log set either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A

  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here

Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.

I`ll do the logs if it happens more frequently, theyve been on since last update not doing anything. just seemed odd, didnt know if there was a time out or something if not used

I think there is most likely something with your particular configuration that is causing the issue. I’m using this web interface a lot and not seeing an issue with my boxes that are infrequently used but running 24/7. There is definitely not any kind of timer that would stop access.

Yeah the one i use in main room was cloned from previous unit and other cloned same. so all settings are identical, apart from one has tvheadend and other has wifi.

one in this room is used daily and has never caused the interface not to load, the others are fine after 24hrs, so will see what there like next week
