Kodi takes to long to start on rPI3

I’m using osmc on a rPI3 and from some time i’m experiencing a problem when starting kodi on it.
It takes (some times) several minutes to start kodi, after OSMC start.

Any help?

Thanks

Do you have wait for network enabled?

yes

Disable it.

Ok. I Will try it. Tks.

Didn’t solved. I did it right away and reboot OSMC and i’m still waiting for Kodi to start.

Hi,

To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.

So, in summary:

  • activate the logging
  • reboot the OSMC device
  • reproduce the issue
  • upload the log set either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A
  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here

Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.

Thanks Tom.

Thanks you. I’m doing it now.

Best regards

The URL from the log is this:

HI,

20:14:10.566 T:1671426816 NOTICE: AddOnLog: PVR IPTV Simple Client: Playlist file path is not configured. Channels not loaded.
20:14:11.959 T:1671426816 NOTICE: Start - EPG thread started

20:14:12.667 T:1770181376   ERROR: CCurlFile::Open failed with code 0 for http://feeds.openelec.tv/news

The 28 second delay for epg where playlist has not been configured may be causing an issue, I wouid try disabling IPTV simple.

When I ping the IP for feeds.openelec.tv, it fails. This may be slowing things down a bit as well.

Thanks Tom.

@kincas scratch that looks like your sdcard is failing, I would try a new sdcard.
