The linux date and time are fine, and TZ is correctly set to Europe/Zurich. The time that shows up on my screen, however, is off by one hour, which happens to be GMT instead of my CET. It seems this happened after my recent update.
How do I convince Kodi to display the right time?
If your time is off ( showing UTC/GMT), re-entering this menu and picking your location again can trigger a system update and correct it.
Location: Settings > Interface > Regional > Change Timezone Country and Timezone.
Wouldn’t you know it? Today the time displays correctly. 11 hours ago it was wrong. Go figure.
Anyway, thanks for the tip. I checked, and the timezone is set correctly in Kodi, as the correct time display would suggest.
