I am running Kodi v16 with a mythtv backend version 0.28 using DB schema version 1344 on Ubuntu. Will I be able to upgrade to Kodi v17 without upgrading the backend. Does upgrading Kodi also update the MythTV pvr to a newer version which needs a newer database schema?
