I thought they dropped h265 hardware-acceleration support.

All I can say is that my h265 videos are stuttering.

Anyone out there with the latest version of osmc with smooth h265 playback on a rpi4?

Does Player Process Information show SW or HW decoding?

No - the new Pi 5 drops H264 support however so that may be what you’re thinking of

I’m not seeing an issue with HEVC with my RPi4 and playback.

That isn’t exactly true. You could post logs which could say a lot more…
