I keep my OSMC Kodi up to date, or at least I think I do …

Checking the system this evening, Kodi is 17.6. Is this the latest version?

Also, what is the command for checking Kodi via command line?

Yes, that’s the latest version. But we produce downstream versioning with a suffix.

From the command line:

dpkg -l | grep mediacenter-osmc

would be the quickest way.
