Live streaming with addon MediathekView doesn't work

Hi,
I’m using the Raspberry Pi 3B+ and wanted to watch ZDF live stream with the addon MediathekView. The Raspberry is connected via WiFi, but it should be a stable connection. When trying to start the live stream for the first time, the live stream works fine. If the stream gets stopped and started again later, it won’t work. The error is something like File couldn't be played. Please see log. I tried starting t multiple times. After reboot, a few hours later and other streams from the addon. It works maybe one out of 10 times.

I never had problems to resolve urls for example when I ran the same raspberry with same wifi connection and raspbian. Is there an option to lower the occurences of this error or is there a different cause?

I assume you mean “pause” and not “stop” or?
With pause it works fine here. But not sure what you mean with “again later”? 10 seconds, 10 Minutes or 10 hours?

I meant stopping and exiting the stream. I tried to restart the stream multiple times. After few seconds, minutes and hours. As I wrote it succeeded maybe one out of 10 times.

Just tried with a Vero4k, current OSMC development stage, Mediathek and ZDF Livestream. No issue at all.
Will now also try a Pi 3B and come back with result.

Also with a Pi 3B, OSMC development, Mediathekview an ZDF Livestream no problem stopping and restarting.
Here I use a Fritzbox 6490, Unitymedia Business Cable 150 Mbit/s.

Thanks for testing! I guess I have to test it with a stable wired connection and see what happens. Probably I will have the time just next weekend. I will post the results.

So with wired connection there were no problems. I guess it was a problem of my wifi connection.
