With OpenElec on my SD card my DiNovo Edge keyboard worked straight away, but with OSMC it does not. Any troubleshooting advice?
Hi,
From a quick a google this appears to be a bluetooth keyboard, is this incorrect?
If that is the case please provide debugging https://osmc.tv/wiki/general/how-to-submit-a-useful-support-request/ showing an attempt to pair via MyOSMC.
Also it may be worth trying to pair via the command-line:
DBMandrake provided a good howto for this a while back, this can be found here.
Thanks Tom.
I havet the same issue. Did not try to solved it through since i had the Vero remote. Will test this out
Hi Tom,
Well it is, but the bluetooth come from a usb dongle that I connect to my Pi’s usb port.

Hi,
What model pi is it? I only ask as the pi3 has bluetooth built in, which could be causing a conflict.
Thanks Tom.
Yes, it is Pi 3. How do I detect if that is the problem and how can I solve the conflict?

Hi,
You can disable the in built by adding dtoverlay=pi3-disable-bt to /boot/config.txt.
As an alternative: google searches suggest the keyboard can paired to generic a bluetooth device. So you could remove the usb dongle and try pairing to the internal bluetooth on the pi3.
Thanks Tom.
I did try the instructions at
and indeed it did work without the dongle. Thanks for that!
However, at startup it never works and I need to re-pair the keyboard every time. Any ideas how to solve that by chance?

Hi,
Reconnect - Some devices will not automatically reconnect to OSMC. This option will tell OSMC to try to initiate a connection to a previously paired device.
Does the reconnect option work? As it states in the guide some devices do not do this automatically.
Thanks Tom.
