Lost skin settings (with devel update), using profiles

I found something, all test before (more then 40) i’ve do was with ssh systemctl restart mediacenter, now I’ve beginning to use the kodi ,menu reset “Kodi box”.
and after three trys, i fall back to the OSMC skin.
What i know that i’ve the guisettings.xml three times

  • in .kodi/userdata
  • in .kodi/userdata/profiles
  • in .kodi/userdata/profiles/michael
    Only the first file was be change to skin OSMCdefault; and when I replace this gui*.xml with my origin *settings.xml, it’s works fine.
    I’ve the log files if you need,

I suspect we may find this to be the problem.

Did you select Exit or Reset?

Someone reported an issue with profiles and loss of settings today on Raspberry Pi on the Kodi forums; so it may be related.

Hi Sam
For now I’ve test the (first +second) avril update:

  • 3 days with profile login page enabled
  • 1 day with auto login profile enabled.
    It’s work’s … (to be sure I prefer to wait for 1 week or more)

Now i update my prod box with avril update (using profile login page)
and with the other box I always take a look to autologin (profile)
I hope that quickly I can write that you are “The Venerable Bouddha”.
Because when other peoples laugh, you work…

PS: I’buy some Vero’s box, Your and your team take the time to continuous …Myself, I’ve really a problem with peoples which don’t donate, don’t buy Vero, etc…

For me the avril update work’s fine, don’t lost gui settings since 10 days.
