On a Raspberry Pi 3 is the standard distribution: 944MB ARM and 64MB for the graphics processor (GPU).
However when SSH on OSMC using:
vcgencmd get_mem arm && vcgencmd get_mem gpu
Why is the memory distribution different on OSMC can anyone explain this?
Because Kodi requires more than 64mb GPU mem to render high quality graphics. I’m not sure why you would find this odd for a media center application. It’s only logical that a need for increased graphic ability would require an increased demand on resources.
