Mixed audio and video output

Hi there guys,

I’m having some trouble figuring out how to make an unusual A/V setup. Briefly, I have a PAL tv (yeah, seriously) that can only be connected to via a composite cable, and a 5.1 audio receiver that, in order to receive the encoded 5.1 DTS and Dolby, must be connected via HDMI (or coax).

Now here come the problems, how can I set my Raspberry Pi to output video via the composite jack and audio (and only audio) via the HDMI output? Can the RPi write audio and video on both outputs simultaneously? Or there is some way of putting out audio alone on one output, and video alone on the other? :thinking:
