MKV file not recognized by osmc (pi model B)

I have this mkv file which is not recognized by pi. Here is the mediainfo details. Can someone help?

I believe it is the AVC vidoe encoding which is the problem, and it has occurred before.
later: a check shows several threads - but seem to indicate AVC is OK.
Why not search and see what you think

AVC is fine on a Pi - I have many video files in this format.

What do you mean by “not recognised” ?

Please enable debug mode in Kodi, try to play the file, then upload your kodi logs.

The problem is that the file itself is not visible from osmc. I browse to the location and osmc doesn’t see any file there.

How are you browsing to the location ? Using Video->Files ? Or are you trying to see it in an add source dialog ? Can you see any other files in the same location ?

I added the source first, and then went to Video --> files to see that file to play. I can see other files except for this one.
