Movie Scraping

Hi,

Recently i was going threw my film collection and noticed quite a few had disapeared.

I have it ticked so each folder is a seperate film and named like… filmname/(year)

e.g.
C:\Films\8 Mile (2002)\8 Mile 2002.mkv < This doesnt
C:\Films\8 Mile (2002)\8 Mile (2002).mkv < This works

It was working but dont know when it stopped, after renaming each filename to have the year in “()” they all now works, but it doesnt seem to be pulling it from the folder as it was previously.

Any suggestions

We believe this is a Kodi issue or a specific Kodi function and as such you should look at addressing the issue there. If you do believe that this is an OSMC specific issue, please let us know.

Tried to reproduce this with pi3 kodi v18 Leia … but can’t.

I created on a NAS (smb access via fstab) an empty file structure

.../8 mile (2002)/blubb.mkv

and ticked the flag. The scraper only cared about the folder title and found “8 Mile (2002)”.

Cheers for trying, Im on the older kodi krypton 17.6.

It was working, I`ll try renaming one and reset up the folder so it re scrapes the lot.

Just seemed odd it only just started happening.

Update:

Just deleted the folders on kodi and re added/scanned and now it finds them :confused:
