Hi,
I have some very old cartoons for my kid (captured from VHS AFAICT). Sound is not working in some of them. I’ve narrowed it down to following audio codec:
ID : 1
Format : MPEG Audio
Format version : Version 2
Format profile : Layer 3
Mode : Joint stereo
Mode extension : Intensity Stereo + MS Stereo
Codec ID : 55
Codec ID/Hint : MP3
Duration : 10mn 35s
Bit rate mode : Constant
Bit rate : 56.0 Kbps
Channel(s) : 2 channels
Sampling rate : 24.0 KHz
Compression mode : Lossy
Stream size : 4.24 MiB (5%)
Alignment : Split accross interleaves
Interleave, duration : 40 ms (1.00 video frame)
Interleave, preload duration : 500 ms
Some files have just a little different codec information:
Mode extension : MS Stereo
Bit rate : 128 Kbps
Sampling rate : 44.1 KHz
Interleave, duration : 999 ms (24.98 video frames)
Interleave, preload duration : 750 ms
The latter works fine. The first kind doesn’t.
Both codecs plays fine on VLC on ubuntu.
Since this is all software decoded, can I install some “driver” on vero 4k to make this work?
