Hi,

I wonder how music player fullscreen mode is working.

When I start playing mp3 radio stream stored in Favorites, it show screen like this:

but after 10seconds it changes to this:

I want to music player to stay in screen from picture one, but I can’t find any option for this in settings.

So my question is how this works? Can this behaviour be set somehow? I want to see stream title, because it is changing when new Show is start to play.

Hi, it looks like you’re usin the Estuary skin.
To bring back the information screen you can press the info button on the remote control. For the Estuary skin I don’t know whether this behaviour can be changed at all in the menus.
But for the OSMC skin, you can configure to show this information always while playback at

Settings -> Interface -> Skin -> Configure Skin -> OSD -> Never Hide Information during music fullscreen playback

Tipp: In case your stream/mp3 anyhow transmits the artist name, it makes much more fun with the ‘Artist Slideshow’ add-on activated, i.e.

It can’t, but Estuary remembers your last setting. So if you manually bring up the info screen after it disappears with the keyboard/remote and then exit full screen music, it will come back with the info screen up permanently next time.

I’m also partial to the Artist Slideshow addon, but at least 40% of that is because I’ve been maintaining it for almost 12 years. :innocent:
