Hi
somehow my osmc settings are gone
how to reinstall the “my osmc” addon?
Hi,
Sounds like file system corruption. I would do a reinstall of osmc and your running on a pi, I suggest a new sd card.
Thanks Tom.
Hi Tom, thx.
sd card checked it is working
I think it was caused by down- and later upgrading osmc from 19 to 18 and back.
Looks like python 3 migration stuck somewhere.
I did a install --reinstall of osmc but this did not solve it.
Is there a way to deinstall the “my OSMC” app?
Returning from 19 back to 18 is no simple task that is going to be resolved by just reinstalling myosmc. You should do a complete reinstall.
I don’t think MyOSMC is working at all on the current version 19 (last time I looked, anyway).
Indeed, MyOSMC is not working with kodi matrix, so you have to use the command line
sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade && sync && reboot
as long as the app is not working on this test environment.
First – we need to fix the duplicate opening bug that’s occuring under v19.
Hi
I did sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade
and install mediacenter via sudo apt-get install rbp2-mediacenter-osmc
I thought this is a complete reinstall?
What am I missing?
Thx
Hi,
To reinstall, you need to back up your settings and then reimage the sd card.
Thanks Tom.
