May be it’s easier to update the readme to list these 2 limitations.
So I need to find a new disk to format or would it work on a FAT/NTFS disk via SAMBA protocole ?
The file transfer protocol is irrelevant. It’s the disk format that’s crucial. It has to be a system that understands linux file permissions and soft/hard links if you ever want to do a 1-1 restore.
Actually, just checked and I can back up to /media/drive/folder/backup (using ext4). So not sure what the problem is.
