I noticed that the Netflix client in our Samsung TV handles slow links somewhat diffently. It automatically lowers the resolution. The Kodi client stops and buffers. It would be neat if the Kodi client could lower the resolution if it runs into speed problems. Just a thought.
Iām not sure the API for that is documented.
Netflix will already use a pretty low resolution by default (a limitation of Widevine L3)
