Netflix issues

So I just installed netflix and once I put in the credentials the screen is now in a forever loading screen (at least 5 min and still going) any idea why netflix won’t load?

I followed this page for the steps under OSMC

This topic probably aligns with another post, but I wasn’t sure where to put it.


If I create a shortcut from the home menu to my account it works just fine. The loading screen only appears when I try to load Netflix through add-ons.

What device are you using?

Vero 4k+

It could be an issue with the Inputstream Adaptive add-on.
Some logs may help.
Hopefully this helps, I’m still unfamiliar with the log process. I opened the add-on at 04/10/21 16:44 and let it sit loading for 30ish seconds.

Can you enable debug logging?
Apologies, read your post too quickly – current inputstream issues only affect playback, so the add-on itself should be working OK.

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

  • enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

  • reboot the OSMC device twice(!)

  • reproduce the issue

  • upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A

  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here

I tried to open the netflix add-on just as it turned 17:04 and let it load for about a minute before returning to the home screen.
