I’ve been keeping tabs on the Bullseye testing thread ([TESTING] Debian 11 Bullseye - #310 by ac16161) and I have just updated my Vero 4K+ to the official Bullseye release. Where can I find the deinterlacing settings that are discussed throughout that thread?
They apply for VC-1 content only. Are you playing VC-1 content?
You don’t need to do anything as the optimal settings are already default.
No, all of my interlaced content is h264, mostly in mts but occasionally I’ll find an mkv with h264 interlaced content.
The changes aren’t relevant to H264 content. We will continue to handle things as before and they should work as expected.
We had to do a bit of extra work to improve VC1.
