New VERO first operation, no HTMI on audio options?

Just installed a new VERO, arrived with with 2016-4-1. Initial KODI settings give me only two audio choices, neither of which I recognize: “audio output device AML-M8 Audio-Analog” OR
" AML-M8 Audio-S/PDIF" ??? My Pi’s use HTMI.

Tried upgrading to 2016-4-2 No change to this and I can’t use SAMBA shares either.

Help.

This is the one you want for HDMI audio. Perhaps we should rename it in the future to be clearer.

Samba issue is being looked at.
