For years I have been able to access my Vero4k+ via Finder
to manage files on the Vero4k+, that is to upload new files and delete files…
After changing WiFi router, Vero4k+ received a new IP address.
Both my MacBook and Vero4k+ are on WiFi connections.
On my MacBook, in Finder I can see OSMC on network
I can also see the USB stick and MicroSD card names
but when i try to access them I am asked for a userid and password
I enter the password I have in OSMC settinggs under control
but the Finder winder in which I enter the the password “shakes”
as if the password is wrong.
Also, I can’t access the OSMC unit via web browser
even though I enter the correct IP adress
First the Samba Password (which relates to what you need for Finder) might be different to the password you have in mind. If you know how to access the Vero with SSH we can let you know how to correct it.
