I’m struggling with this. I can’t reproduce the problem. Can you just check the crash happens only when you are using the USB soundcard. Please select the default (analog and hdmi) audio output with 5.1 channels and no passthrough and confirm your mkv/ac-3 videos play OK. Of course you may not hear sound if you are using a monitor unless you plug some headphones or your amp into the analog port.
Hi Graham, the problem only happens with Xonar U5 and X.1 confituration. I can playback the file with
U5 + 2.0 - ok
AMLM8 + 5.1 - ok
AMLM8 + 2.0 - ok
Hi, after the problems with vero 4k, I have interexchanged it with a RPI 2 B which I had in the beethroom TV, the results are better but there are still issues to resolve. I hope I can restore them to their place with nexts Vero updates.
I will open a new topic with RPI & U5 issue.

Kodi has been updated. If you check for updates the issue should be fixed on Vero.
