No choice for wireless in my osmc in kodi and aptv1 boot usb

Hi,

I created the osmc usb boot disc for aptv1 so i can boot directly form usb . I have kodi up and running and everything works fine but im connected to the internet via ethernet cord. I would like to see if i can connect wirelessly. i have gone into the network option via kodi in “my osmc” but only wired connection is listed. In watching some youtube vids it seems like there should be a wireless choice listed as well but there is none.
Is this because im booting from the disc and not hdd? If i pull the out usb and run apple tv as normal i can connect wirelessly to my network so there should be a way no?

You may need to install Broadcom firmware although recent versions have this included

You should really use a CrystalHD card and an external dongle instead. There are supported dongles in the Store.
